Why should we care?

 School funds ARE important. They could impact everyone in your community because as its been said before our students are our future. If our schools don't have enough funding to keep elective classes such as art, choir, band, theater, and other courses then Michigan students won't get the same opportunities as students from other states that refuse to remove money from the education department. We would like to make it clear that these cuts aren't something that will happen in ten years, they are happening right now. The Legislature is voting on the budget right now.
